2. Key Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in consumer electronics or FMCG packaging and labeling, preferably with a strong project management background.
- Solid knowledge of pre-press processes, end-to-end printing workflows, inks, adhesives, print decoration, and finishing techniques.
- Excellent color perception, with the ability to identify subtle color deviations and provide on-site adjustment guidance to printing suppliers.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, track milestones and deliverables, and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative, adaptable, and resourceful approach to handling changing product specifications and tight deadlines.
- Based in Shenzhen or Shanghai, with a willingness to travel domestically on a regular basis and undertake up to 50% international travel.
- In-depth expertise in color management and color theory; candidates must pass the Munsell Color Test with a score below 5.
- Hands-on experience with press color approval, including the ability to coach suppliers in identifying root causes through professional pre-press and printing expertise.
- Strong understanding of premium print quality standards, with an exceptionally sharp eye for detail.
- Proficient in written and reading English, with sufficient conversational English skills for effective communication with international teams.

3. Work Scope
(1) Category Color Development Support
- Collaborate with category specialists on color print testing, color matching, development, and multi-site sample approval.
- Verify suppliers’ manufacturing capabilities and provide samples for internal team review and sign-off.
- Jointly develop stable ink and foil formulas to establish consistent standards across the supply chain and improve quality, consistency, and efficiency.
(2) Print Delivery & Quality Control
- Support the printing of category accessories and conduct press approvals, including participation in domestic and international PRQ press inspections.
- Establish and maintain consistent color standards across multiple suppliers, provide professional color assessments, and approve official acceptable color targets.
- Troubleshoot printing defects on-site, provide timely feedback and approvals, and clearly communicate the rationale behind color and quality decisions to internal teams and suppliers.
- Monitor print deliverables against project timelines and proactively identify risks that could disrupt internal or external workflows.
- Manage approved color chips and color data for each supplier, ensuring samples are validated, maintained, and replenished before expiration.
- Conduct spot-color qualification for secondary and tertiary suppliers upon request, following primary-site approval by the producer team.
- Collaborate with SQE to establish and provide approved color ranges and targets as required.
(3) Supplier Capability Supervision & Improvement
- Participate in long-term supplier development and maintenance programs covering pre-press, ink mixing, printing, and finishing processes, and monitor the implementation of supplier corrective actions.
- Conduct standardized tests across the supply chain, such as Press Characterization, and prepare corresponding reports in accordance with packaging SQE guidelines.
- Assist in establishing standardized processes and procedures and support their full implementation across the supplier network.
