Who we are looking for:
Clever is seeking a contractor video editor to supercharge our video ad production and support graphic design production. You will be responsible for creating short-form content that not only captivates attention but works in tandem with the team with our paid media strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce highly engaging short-form ad creatives that captivate target audience and drive quality leads
- Design static ad graphics for various platforms including Meta, TikTok, Instagram, Display, ensuring they align with overall campaign goals
- Collaborate on the direction for video ads and ensuring that our content remains at the forefront of industry trends
- Lead the post-production process from initial edit to final delivery, including cutting footage, adding music and sound effects, colour grading, and implementing motion graphics
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and refine video concepts that align with our advertisement strategies and conversion goals
- Utilize B-roll footage, sound transitions, captions, and other advanced editing techniques to enhance storytelling and viewer retention
- Utilize AI tools for generating voice-overs and integrating them into video projects where needed
- Ensure all video content is produced within deadlines and meets our quality standards
- Export video projects in required formats and resolutions, ensuring they meet quality standards before final submission
- From time to time, develop long form content
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing, with a portfolio showcasing a wide range of projects
- Expertise in using video editing software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong experience with motion graphics and visual effects software, such as Adobe After Effects
- Proficient in colour grading, sound editing, pacing and other post-production processes
- Experience in assisting in the creative brief
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
Other
- Contract position
- $40 – $50 hourly rate
- 5-15 hour per week commitment
- Must work in Slack and Asana
