About the role

As a UX/UI Designer at Culture Shift, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface of our SaaS product. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to create inclusive, intuitive and visually stunning design that meets the needs of our diverse user base. Your work will directly impact the way our customers interact with our products, driving user satisfaction and loyalty.

 

Key responsibilities

User research and analysis – Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points. Analyse data and feedback to inform design decisions and improvements.

Wireframing and prototyping – Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualise design concepts. Iterate on designs based on feedback and usability testing results.

UI design – Develop visually appealing and consistent user interfaces that align with our design system and collaborate with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.

Design systems – Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system. Ensure design consistency and scalability across all products and platforms. Advocate for and educate team members on the importance of design systems.

Usability testing – Plan and conduct usability testing to gather valuable insights and validate design choices. Use feedback to refine designs and enhance the overall user experience.

Collaboration – Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives. Foster a collaborative and innovative design culture within the organisation.

Stay updated on industry trends – Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design. Apply insights to continuously improve and elevate the design standards of our product.

Tech stack – You will be a Figma ninja! And have an advanced level of skills relating to UI/UX design, rapid prototyping, design system management and will also be familiar with Figjam and or Miro for research and whiteboarding. Core Adobe Creative Cloud apps such as Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign would also be an advantage.
