Sr. Growth Product Designer

Sr. Growth Product Designer

Company details

Type of job: Remote
Country: Worldwide
City: Anywhere
Company: Path

Description of the offer

Path is a healthtech company dedicated to making mental health care work for everyone. Path takes a patient-first approach, where treatment is more accessible, personalized, and effective. With Path, it’s easy to find a high-quality therapist or psychiatric clinician who accepts insurance and is actively accepting new patients.

What we’re solving

Over 65 million Americans have a treatable mental health issue — that’s 1 in 5 people. Today it’s difficult to find a provider, and for those with complicated conditions, it’s nearly impossible to find coordinated care. We’re here to fix this.

Our Mission

Path’s mission is to make mental healthcare work for everyone.

The Role

We are seeking a talented and versatile Sr. Product Designer with strong visual design skills to complement our Growth EPD (Engineering/Product/Design) team. Specifically we are looking for a unique Product Design candidate who trends towards Brand more than their peers. The scope for this role includes working with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing) and effectively being the primary contributor responsible for extending our brand and Growth related products.

As a Sr. Growth Product Designer, your expertise will help shape the look, feel, and functionality of our products and consumer-facing website, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing, engaging, and user-friendly.

We’re looking for a designer who is excited to combine user research, prototyping, visual design, and deep customer empathy with world-class design craft to build amazing experiences for patients and providers. This is a product design focused role with an emphasis on brand identity and visual storytelling.

We believe in creating a work environment where creatives are able to focus on a finite set of priorities whilst maintaining a positive work/life balance. We will actively prevent role scope creep from happening; You’ll spend most of your time focused on our top 1-2 projects for Growth and we will say “no” to everything else.

We’re looking for someone who is interested and excited to be an individual contributor. The company is growing quickly so if you’re a design manager, we’d still love to talk but the expectation is that this is primarily an individual contributor role today.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to understand project goals, user requirements, and technical constraints.
  • Conceptualize and create user-centered designs for our products, considering user needs, business objectives, and industry best practices.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively.
  • Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
  • Create high-quality visual assets, including icons, illustrations, and graphics, to support product features and branding.
  • Maintain and evolve design systems and visual standards to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and validate design decisions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and share knowledge with the design team.

What We’re Looking For

An ideal candidate would be someone with the following traits:

  • Self-managed work ethic. We are a remote company building a highly focused, low overhead team. We trust people to get work done on their own initiative.
  • 4+ years of product design and visual design experience, ideally at a technology company.
  • Proven experience as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing both product and visual design projects.
  • Excellent typography, layout, and composition skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to create visual assets that evoke emotion, convey a brand’s personality, and resonate with target audiences.
  • Experience designing and shipping complex products at all parts of the product lifecycle, from early brainstorming to post-launch evaluation.
  • Ability to form clear hypotheses around design decisions and lay out a path to validate them.
  • Clear and concise written, verbal, and visual communication skills. This is especially important as a remote company.
  • Experience with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other best-in-class tools.

Our Team

The people of Path are what truly define our mission and determine our impact on the world. We believe in building not only a team, but a diverse community that thrives by helping each other succeed and grow and inspiring each other by taking on big challenges.

For employees, Path is a 100% remote healthtech company and we’re HIRING! We’re excited to bring people onto the team who are committed to raising the bar on mental health care.

As Part Of Our Team, Full-Time Employees Receive

  • The ability to work from any location within the US
  • Competitive pay and benefits that do not change based on location
  • 2 company-wide shutdown weeks each year to focus on self-care
  • Paid parental leave to support you and your family
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance through our employer plan
  • Access to our 401K
