100% Remote, 5 hours/week, 1099 – Contract

The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a CrossFit gym & program, located in Somerville and Arlington MA! They are looking for a part time Social Media Manager to join their team. The Social Media Manager will coordinate and execute the company’s social media marketing and advertising.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, independent, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers.

Content management duties

• Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels and ads)
• Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising
• Leverage the right tools to manage your content
• Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns
• Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing)
• Manage or oversee all social advertising campaigns

Core Marketing Responsibilities

• SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic
• Marketing plan development
• Social media content creation

Qualifications/Skills

• BS in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field
• 4 proven experience working with business-related social media
• Goal oriented, self-directed and self-motivated to work independently while coordinating with larger team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, marketing and communication skills
• Deadline and detail oriented
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook – WordPress experience a +
