We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer excited to build the future of healthcare in a fast-paced AI-driven health-tech startup environment. This role will likely turn into a full time role as we build and grow the organization! We are looking for a creative collaborator, who can create crisp and compelling visual and user experiences to lead our UX/UI design and development efforts. We are looking for UX/UI employee #1, so we need a self-starter who is ready to create and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and UX/UI design with expertise in Figma and the ability to translate creative concepts into engaging content. This role will involve working closely with our Founder/CEO, as well as our medical and technology development teams.

We are looking for a driven change-maker who wants to dedicate their creative brilliance to improving patient lives.

 

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, develop & direct UX/UI design for AI-driven patient technology
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and medical teams, to conceptualize and execute product and design strategies
• Critically analyze and empathize with diverse user needs, performing user research and analyzing results toward iterative product improvement
• Participate in strategy discussions, providing both creative direction & user insights
• Develop high-quality visual content for our core products & services, as well as company websites, social media, marketing campaigns and presentations
• Utilize Figma to design wireframes, prototypes, and collaborate with teams on UX/UI design projects
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of assets
• Ensure consistency of visual style and brand alignment across all assets/media
• Stay current with industry trends/best practices to bring innovative ideas to the table

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field, or have developed a similar toolkit through excellent work experience
• 10+ years of experience in digital/multimedia design with a portfolio showcasing expertise in UX/UI and graphic design
• Expertise in Figma for UX/UI design, wireframes, and prototyping
• Experience in creating engaging content for digital platforms, including apps, websites and social media
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to organize and prioritize project tasks and responsibilities
• Ability to take creative feedback and adjust designs to meet project objectives
• Great communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong problem-solving skills are a must
• Experience in information/UX architecture and video production each a plus
• Experience in AI-driven tech and/or healthcare industries also each a plus
• Experience in start-up environment(s) a huge plus

We are ideally looking to hire this role as a contract position that could be part-time or full-time to begin, but with the goal to progress to a hybrid, full-time position with an office location in the Burlington/Waltham area in 1H 2025.

 

Compensation to be offered based on experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
