COMPENSATION: $120k-$140k

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Meteor Education is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join its growing marketing team and execute on our customer acquisition and retention strategies. In this role, you will develop product positioning and messaging, provide sales team enablement, and strengthen customer relationships with communications and training. You will partner across the organization with sales, vendor management, strategy, product development, and design and education experts to create content and assets that engage our target audiences and convey the value of our products and services. This is an opportunity for a passionate, hands-on candidate to have a significant impact by laying the foundation for the product marketing function and then adding to the team over time.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create compelling product positioning that communicates the value and benefit of our learning environment solutions

• Generate engaging product-related messaging and content that resonates with our target audiences for marketing assets, sales collateral and campaigns

• Develop sales enablement materials such as collateral, product guides, training presentations and FAQs to support the sales team’s ability to communicate product value to prospects and customers

• Collaborate with manufacturer relationship team, sales, and our learning experts to drive successful product adoption

• Monitor, assess and share industry trends, customer needs and competitive offerings to inform product and marketing strategies

• Coordinate with other members of the marketing team including brand, demand gen, and creative to execute go-to-market strategies and campaigns

• Develop marketing plans for new product launches and product and manufacturer updates, and work cross-functionally to execute

• Bring customer success stories to life for use in sales and marketing

Requirements

• 5+ years of B2B product marketing experience

• Additional work experience in related areas such as product management, marketing strategy or communications a plus

• Demonstrated success in developing and executing go-to-market plans for new products

• Expertise in creating product positioning, value propositions and customer success stories

• History of partnering with sales teams to create impactful and effective collateral, presentations and tools to be used during the sales process

• Skilled at evaluating and presenting market and customer requirements, competitive updates and market trends

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop clear, concise, compelling messaging and content

• Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with other teams and across all levels

• Strong project management skills and an analytical mindset, capable of leveraging data to make informed decisions

• Prior management experience a plus

NOTE: All Meteor new hires are expected to attend an in-person cultural orientation which requires travel to our home office in Gainesville, FL. Employees may also be required to travel and attend annual company meetings and events. All business-related travel expenses will be paid for by Meteor per our company travel and expense policy.
