Role Summary

Reporting to the Director of Product Design, the Senior Product Designer Manager will be responsible for managing the growing Product Design team across our consumer and partner applications. Taking on a player coach role, you’ll be responsible for supporting and inspiring our team’s product development craft and helping to lead the way to a best in class product.

What You Will Do

• Manage a growing team of product designers as both team lead IC but also people manager.
• Inspire, motivate, and lead designers across experience levels to do the best work of their career.
• Partner closely with your Product Management peers to identify, shape and prioritize efforts.
• Collaborate with Renew Home’s leadership to determine design direction and process improvements.
• Lead out in defining, creating and iterating on our core user experience, leading cross-functional discovery workshops, definitions and developing UX strategies.
• Create service maps of core experience to ensure clarity and alignment cross-functionally.
• Take on portions of the overall consumer application to define UX details from CUJs to UX definition to UI details alongside the Product Design team.
• Lead the Product Design team on critiques and deliver clear and actionable feedback.

Requirements

• 3+ years of people management experience
• 6+ years of Product Design experience with an exceptional portfolio.
• Proven track record of collaborating with Product Managers and Engineering partners to ship successful product experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to design simple solutions to complex user and technical problems.
• Fluency in Figma and prototyping your ideas to help drive alignment.
• Low ego, holds strong opinions loosely, collaborative, and loves learning.
• Bonuses:
