The Goodies team combines deep expertise in offline, social, and email marketing to reach its audience with uniquely crafted products.

 

About The Role: As a creative Senior Graphic and Motion Designer, you will help elevate our brand with compelling visual experiences through research, creativity, 3D, visual, packaging, and motion design. Your designs will forge a new connection with our customers as our products reach them through social ads, secure at-home delivery, social media, and other cross-platform experiences.At Hello Goodies, you will be working alongside a creative team of designers, engineers, and leadership in an early startup environment, where speed and resourcefulness make all the difference.

 

How You Will Make an Impact:

1. Design Needs:

• Design and manage packaging for our product catalog (web and print)
• Review our current brand marketing materials and research/implement new ways to connect with our audience through design
• Utilize 3D design tools like Blender for modern product modeling, visualization, and renders
• Create and modify product packaging designs in vector tools, and export them for use as needed in UV maps, website product panels, etc.
• Expand our brand identity guidelines
• Create logo designs, digital illustrations, icons, infographics, and marketing materials for use across web and print
• Design social media ads (Facebook and Google) and email marketing campaigns
• Work with generative AI tools to enhance design processes (e.g., MidJourney)

 

2. Video Needs:

• Create stunning motion graphics, animations, and perform video editing to showcase our products in marketing efforts
• Use 3D and motion design tools to create unique product videos that sample our products in high quality, meeting industry standards
• Slice, edit, and color grade video content to meet our social media video needs
• Utilize Adobe After Effects and Premiere (or Final Cut Pro) for video production
• Explore generative AI for audio (preferably ElevenLabs) and video content creation
• Handle sound design, asset creation, rigging, and modeling where needed to complete video output

 

What Makes You a Good Fit:

• Proven experience in graphic, packaging, and motion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily Photoshop, After Effects & Illustrator) and Blender 3D for both design and video projects
• Mastery of typography, color, layout, and iconography
• Experience with Figma for email and digital design
• You have had previous experience in a Senior Designer role
• Strong understanding of design principles, print/web design, identity design, and effective marketing strategies
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

   

 

Bonus Experience: Content creation, UI/UX design, other 3D animation tools (Maya, Cinema 4D, etc.), 3D sculpting (ZBrush), photo editing with Lightroom/Camera Raw
