The Job Position

As our team expands, we are currently seeking a Senior Finance Associate, who will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our payables processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company while also supervising the payables team. This position requires excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance. Responsibilities include:

• Lead and optimize the entire payables cycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoice processing and payments.
• Process and manage payables by reviewing and processing invoices and expense reports accurately and efficiently.
• Ensuring that all payments are properly authorized and recorded in the accounting system
• Coordinate payment schedules and methods, including electronic funds transfers, checks, and wire transfers
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payablesrecords with vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Prepare and distribute reports summarizing payables activities, outstanding invoices, and aging reports
• Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and supporting information as needed
• Continuously evaluate and enhance payables processes, systems, automation, and controls to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and productivity
• Assist with company payroll
• Perform month-end tasks like Accruals, Prepayments, and quarterly VAT recap.
• Support the Finance Team with any ad-hoc tasks that relate to the role
