Job Summary:
Viator, a leading marketplace for travel experiences, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Brand Designer to join our team. As a Senior Brand Designer at Viator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and creative output that drives customer engagement and loyalty. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and compelling designs that resonate with our audience across various marketing channels.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the maintenance of the Viator brand across marketing and community channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Conceptualize and execute new digital campaigns that engage audiences and support brand awareness, acquisition, and retention.
- Lead design projects from ideation to execution, ensuring a seamless and cohesive brand experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product designers, and content creators, to ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints.
- Mentor and potentially lead a small team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in design, particularly within the travel and tourism sector.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in brand design, with a strong online portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and proficiency in various design elements.
- Experience in digital and interactive design, with a focus on engaging the travel and experiences communities preferred.
- Proficiency in design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma and After Effects, with a basic understanding of Premiere.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and other design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategic thinking to cross-functional teams
- Data-driven and obsessed with measurable impact of a campaign.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
