We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior 2D Game Animator to join our talented team. As the Senior 2D Game Animator, you will play a crucial role in our game development process, working closely with the art, design, and development teams to create compelling animations for our projects.

You will :

Animation Excellence:

• Create exceptional 2D animations, infusing characters with life, personality, and fluid movements that seamlessly blend with the artistic style and game mechanics.
• Deliver animations that consistently elevate the overall visual and emotional impact of the game.

Collaborative Integration:

• Forge strong collaborative bonds with art, design, and development teams, actively participating in cross-functional meetings to ensure animations are seamlessly integrated into the game engine.
• Proactively engage in discussions to align animations with technical and gameplay requirements, fostering a cohesive development process.

Character Empowerment:

• Elevate the storytelling process by crafting animations that go beyond conveying emotions and personality, enabling characters to evolve and connect with players on a deeper level.
• Leverage animation to enrich character backgrounds, motivations, and interactions, contributing significantly to the immersive narrative experience.

Character Rigging Expertise:

• Expertly rig characters based on provided character designs, allowing for natural and expressive animations.
• Show mastery over the character’s rigging setup hierarchy in the file, which would allow for full control over the character’s movements.

Dynamic Gameplay Enhancement:

• Innovate and create animations that not only captivate players visually but also enhance gameplay mechanics and user experience.
• Prioritize the creation of animations that are not only visually appealing but also responsive and intuitive, adding value to the overall gameplay.

Nurturing Mentorship:

• Actively foster an environment of growth and collaboration by providing dedicated mentorship and guidance to junior animators.
• Encourage continuous skill development, inspire creativity, and support team members in realizing their full potential as animators.

Iterative Excellence:

• Embrace an iterative approach to animation creation, valuing feedback from stakeholders and playtesting.
• Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to refining animations based on constructive feedback, resulting in consistently improved animations and exceptional final results.
