Production Designer

Description of the offer

We are a small creative studio located just outside Portland, in downtown Oregon City. We specialize in helping sports and outdoor brands bring products and ideas to market. In this Production Designer role, you’ll be working closely with our Design Director to create and extend campaign concepts into a variety of digital and print files. Must be fluent with Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite, Dropbox and Google apps.

We are, ideally, looking for a local person who doesn’t mind coming into the office when we’re under a deadline, but can work together remotely once a workflow has been established.

What you’ll do:

• Take direction from Senior Creative team to execute final files
• Design within established brand guidelines and templates
• Prepare, organize, archive and deliver final files for various media
• Deliver high-level work under tight deadlines.
• Who we’re looking for:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in digital production in an internal brand creative department or agency.
• Ability to work through multiple iterations and with speed and efficiency
• Ability to work independently, but also be an excellent collaborator
• An understanding of visually engaging design aesthetic as it pertains to the sports and outdoor marketplace.
• Experience with Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign Illustrator, Photoshop
• Able to navigate within Google G Suite, specifically Drive and Docs
• Respect and passion for typography, color theory, and multimedia design.

Motion graphics experience using Animate, After Effects and Premiere Pro is a plus.

This is a freelance/at-will relationship.

Ideally we’re looking to create a working relationship with an established contractor who needs to add another client to their roster.
