Our well-established development team enables us to consistently deliver substantial features. Our team is exceptionally ambitious, remarkably capable, and notably humble. This position is an individual contributor (IC) role that reports directly to our Staff Product Designers.

You should be ready to collaborate across cross-functional teams, possess firm convictions about the essence of a compelling MVP, stay on the forefront of technology, and embrace a readiness to navigate through ambiguity in order to craft solutions from inception to completion.

The adventures that await you after becoming Product Designer at Hack The Box:

  • Designing functional and beautiful user interfaces that create inspiring moments throughout the entire hacking journey – from helping hackers connect to their VPN to empowering their skills through gameplay and gamification to bring one-of-a-kind hacking experiences to life;
  • Assisting in the creation and implementation of a scalable style guide and design system that facilitates rapid product development, while ensuring visual and interactive cohesion across products, platforms, and scenarios;
  • Leading end-to-end design projects from concept to launch, ensuring exceptional UX/UI design.
  • Crafting detailed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Communicating your design decisions effectively to senior leadership, developers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that your vision is aligned with business goals and user needs;
  • Engaging in various forms of communication—including asynchronous—to update teams, ask the right questions, and proactively remove blockers in your design process.
  • Regularly reviewing our live applications, taking full responsibility for the UI and UX state of features under your purview.

Skills, knowledge, and experience points required to unlock the role of Product Designer at Hack The Box:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in large-scale browser or desktop solutions
  • Proven proficiency with design tools, such as Figma/Sketch (we use Figma).
