Description of the offer

Tapstitch makes it easy to create any piece of quality apparel in minutes. Our mission is to empower everyone to express themselves through clothes. We have raised $3 million led by Alpaca Ventures with participation from Creator Ventures. We are a global team based in China, Palo Alto, and LA.

You will work closely with both founders:

• Joe Glick, founding team of the UK’s largest food media brand, mob, and Stanford MBA24′
• Yuan Zhou, founder of acquired apparel e-commerce business Bluetale ($80M exit)

About the Role

We are looking for someone happy to be involved in all parts of the design process specifically brand and website You will initially help us come up with a simple new brand, sketch out the company’s user flows, and re-design its website. If you are excited about building the world’s leading print on demand apparel business and joining a team at the earliest stages, this is the role for you.

 

 

What you’ll own:

• Design a new simple brand for Tapstitch

• User experience flows and journey

• Redesign the website in Figma

• In time have the opportunity to run the company’s design function

 

Your Experience

• Proven experience as a product and design owner on technical products, with a strong focus on UX

• Proficiency in design tools, especially Figma

• You are happy owning tasks outside of your core competency

• You are a strong communicator and project owner in a fully remote team

• Ability to be action orientated and self motivated in a fully remote environment
• You can operate in a company with early stage ambiguity

• Familiarity with front-end development and its impact on design implementation
• Have a strong aesthetic and great taste
