About Us:

Soul Song is a burgeoning record label with a unique blend of contemporary jazz, world, ambient, and neo-classical genres. Our music is deeply rooted in traditional substance, drawing influences from Jewish sources across regions such as Andalusia, Europe, Israel, Yemen, the USA, and more. Our primary artist and label founder, Yosef-Gutman Levitt embodies the essence of our label’s vision, and we’re on the lookout for a designer who can match his artistry in the visual realm.

Role:

We are seeking a Part-Time Designer with a deep understanding of the music space, a flair for marketing, and a passion for our genres. This role is pivotal in shaping the visual identity of Soul Song and its artists.

Responsibilities:

1. Brand, design, create, and edit our Shopify Storefront ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
2. Keep Bandcamp looking great.
3. Rapidly produce digital and print ads that resonate with our target audience.
4. Format core designs for manufacturing CDs and LPs according to industry specifications.
5. Extract, select, and work with quotes and copy to create compelling marketing materials.
6. Generate high-quality social media assets promptly, ensuring brand consistency and appeal.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in graphic design, preferably within the music industry.
2. Proficiency in Shopify design and other relevant design software.
3. Strong understanding of marketing principles and the ability to work with copy effectively.
4. Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
5. Passion for and knowledge of the music genres we represent.
