About You

You are well versed at laying out strategies at the 10,000-foot view and then diving into the weeds and rolling up your sleeves to experiment and execute ideas. You’ll optimize marketing campaigns across all channels to lead a campaign from conception to full execution. With a strong grasp of concepts on marketing tools, strategies, and integrated digital marketing campaigns, you will ensure that campaigns launch on time and within budget.

With the ultimate goal of growing our brand’s loyalty and awareness across Canada, you will also get to build marketing best practices and protocols, laying the foundation for years to come.

A typical week in the life of the Marketing Manager looks like

  • Planning and executing all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining a strong social media presence
  • Measuring and reporting on digital marketing campaign performances, and assessing these against ROI and KPIs
  • Optimizing total spend and performance based on trend insights
  • Brainstorming new and creative growth strategies
  • Planning and executing experiments and conversion tests
  • Creating our landing pages and optimizing user experience by collaborating with internal teams
  • Evaluating end-to-end customer experience using an analytical ability by looking across multiple channels
  • Constantly providing thought leadership, support, and on-going partnership
  • Managing and staying on top of marketing expenses and budget

What you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or similar education in marketing or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a digital marketing position
  • Knowledge of key marketing channels: email, advertising, SEO, website and blog management, ppc and others.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
  • Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment

This is a 12 month contract position that can lead to full-time.
