The role of the UI/UX Designer: As a UI/UX designer, you will be responsible for the daily management of our cloud-based web presence. You will work closely with our marketing department to create and optimize the online experience for visitors from the moment they first visit our websites all the way to when they convert to a customer. You will be responsible for maintaining our branding across all of our web properties. You will often be responsible for projects that require creating highly engaging, data driven web design with the collaboration of the marketing and engineering teams.

We are looking for a flexible and passionate team player who has experience creating both websites and application user interfaces – and is great at finding solutions to communicating our core offerings through the use of intuitive and accessible web design. You should be familiar with web design & development best practices including mobile-friendly, and responsive web solutions. The ideal candidate can take initiative to research and implement projects with little direction and is passionate, energetic, and has great attention to detail. The candidate must also be flexible, independent and quick to learn. The position reports to the Marketing Director and is a key role on a dynamic and experienced technical marketing team.

• Have a high-level proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Proficiency in utilizing Figma or Sketch.
• 5-7 years experience in UI and UX design
• 1 year of experience in HTML and CSS would be an asset.
• Proficiency with basic principles of graphic design
• Experience with prepress procedures for printed products an asset
• Ability to manage a diverse workload, learn ,adapt quickly and take direction from others.
• Possess expert knowledge in graphic design principles, digital design principles and web standards.
• Passionate for all things design and storytelling.
• Able to work quickly on tight deadlines and take pride in your work.
• Pays great attention to details.
• Strong conceptual thinking and design execution abilities in both visual and interaction design

Annual Salary

Ranges from 40,000 to 55,000 USD
