Language geek Developer (Javascript/Python)

Our client’s product is an all-in-one language learning platform that empowers users to learn a new language while enjoying their favorite content on platforms like Netflix, YouTube, websites, books, and more. Its unique feature allows users to create flashcards with ease, including screenshots and audio recordings, to enhance their language learning experience on mobile devices.

Role Overview:

Our client is looking for a developer who is a geek when it comes to learning languages. As a Language-Geek Developer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our client’s language analysis tools, including parsing and creating frequent word lists. While our client primarily uses Kotlin, we welcome candidates with expertise in Javascript or Python who have the willingness to learn about Kotlin.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to improve our client’s language learning-assistant tools.
• Analyze language data and provide insights to enhance language learning experiences.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of language-related software applications.
• Stay updated on language learning and technology trends to ensure our client’s tools remain innovative.

• Language Enthusiast: A strong passion for languages and a deep understanding of grammar and linguistics.
• Language Learning Experience: Proficiency in English and a proven background in learning one of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Kotlin, Javascript, or Python is a plus. Willingness to learn Kotlin if not already proficient.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze language data and create meaningful insights.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset to work with our client’s multidisciplinary team of language enthusiasts, developers
