• Awto is the first ‘car sharing in Chile’.Through their App, users can reserve cars for minutes, hours or days and then give it back in different parts of the city.
• Evsy makes Electric Vehicles user’s life easier by giving them certainty in route, real-time availability and billing at charging points.
• 2bak transforms returns into profits for the buyer and the seller, making this system more intelligent and with a better experience for the user.
• ETrans develop fleet management systems for transportation systems, with the objective of generate more efficiencies in their operations.
• Kupos digitizes a payment method for the entire transport in Chile.

About the Role:

In our Company Builder, our Methodology is rooted in design thinking and very in-depth research in the global mobility space. Each Startup begins with a vision, and those visions undergo an extensive review process over the span of several months. The top vision is finally selected, and is converted into a Startup at güil. The Head of Innovation / Company Builder Expert will be responsible for developing teams of visionaries, enhancing their company builder methodology, and launching new companies under güil’s portfolio.

Our Company Builder arm is our core, and we are looking for someone who has vast experience and passion for building startups from the ground up. The right candidate will lead güil´s creation waves using a toolset of methodologies that will foster the creation of successful startups in a determined period of time. They will also be responsible for managing our current internal portfolio of companies, together, with the rest of our Core Team. This role will closely with our Investment Arm, and report directly to our General Coordinator and Board of Investors.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead the Company Builder/Venture Studio Arm: Team and Process
• Implement business creation methodologies to create startups in the mobility space from scratch
• Develop an active network of entrepreneurs and relationships with potential leaders and founders to join incubated companies
• Timely execute and follow up on the creation waves
• Manage the Company Builder Budget
• Manage the current portfolio of startups and develop the roadmap that takes our portfolio companies successfully to go-to-market, and help establish later-stage investments.
• Research and generate market mappings.

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in a disruptive and innovative environment building business models
• Deep knowledge of business design methodologies such as Design Thinking, Customer Journey, Business Model Canvas, etc.
• Vast experience in Acceleration and Company Builder programs, creating a process for building business models systematically
• Strong understanding and experience with entrepreneurs
• Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Advanced level of English/Spanish

Desirable Qualifications:

• MBA
• Experience in the Mobility industry
• International experience
• Experience as an entrepreneur and/or co-founded a Startup

Location: This role can be fully remote to start, but will require relocation to Santiago, Chile within the first year of employment.
