Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Apparel Designer to join our team and contribute to our mission. As an Apparel Designer at Find The Good Brand, you will play a key role in bringing our campaigns to life, from ideation to the finished product. You will work closely with our founder and team to design and develop compelling graphics, illustrations, and apparel items that align with our brand’s mission and resonate with our audience. In addition, you will be responsible for sourcing apparel and wholesale garments that meet our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and designs for our apparel collections, ensuring they align with our brand’s mission and values.
• Create eye-catching and meaningful graphics, illustrations, and artwork for various apparel items, including t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, hats, and more.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into your designs to keep our brand fresh and relevant.
• Source and research apparel and wholesale garment options, considering quality, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery.
• Create mockups, prototypes, and design presentations to effectively communicate your ideas to the team.
• Participate in the product development process, from selecting materials to overseeing the production process to final product inspection.
• Assist in the creation and execution of marketing materials, such as lookbooks and promotional images.
• Ensure that all designs and products meet our brand’s high standards of quality and sustainability.

Requirements:

• A strong passion for our brand’s mission of promoting mental health and well-being.
• Proven experience as an apparel designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
• Proficiency in graphic design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Knowledge of current apparel and fashion trends, as well as an understanding of garment construction and materials.
• Ability to source and select appropriate apparel and wholesale garment options.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a creative team.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and design aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in the apparel industry or fashion design is a plus.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and ethical sourcing in the fashion industry is a plus.
