Finta is building the Rippling for accounting and finance.

For decades, accountants have relied on manual, error-prone processes, taking 7 days each month to compile accurate financial results. Sadly, this is the industry standard today.

Startups face even greater challenges, grappling with tedious, confusing accounting software and costly bookkeepers, often waiting 21 days for inaccurate results.

Finta is redefining company accounting with software that serves as the source of truth for all financial data, providing real-time, accurate results, eliminating the need for QuickBooks and bookkeepers.

Our mission is to revolutionize how growing companies manage finance, accounting, and taxes, empowering founders and operators to make better, faster decisions while staying lean.

Hundreds of startups rely on our real-time dashboard, automated bookkeeping, and compliant tax filings. Since graduating from YC in W23, we’ve raised over $2M from investors like Garage Capital, Zeno Ventures, and leaders from Mercury, Brex, and Ramp.

We’re a remote first team of two, with a headquarters in San Francisco.

 

About the role

Design is core to Finta’s mission, we’re looking for a Founding Designer who is passionate about our mission to build the next generation of accounting software.

 

About you

• You’re a generalist with 5+ years of product design experience
• You’re passionate about simplifying complexity into intuitive products
• You’re a self-starter with a low ego who thrives in ambiguity.
• You’re action-oriented and excited about shipping and iterating rapidly.
• You’re a strong communicator who excels at expressing ideas visually.

 

What you’ll do

• Shape the product roadmap and strategy by conceptualizing features and user experiences that elevate the product and business.
• Design world-class interfaces that solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with CEO and Engineer to build out a design system and ship solutions.
• Help evolve Finta’s brand identity to reflect our mission, product, and community
• Take ownership of user research to understand our customers and inform design decisions.
