6 month freelance role for Digital Exec, working as part of dedicated Digital team for large prop. developer.
THE COMPANY
My Client is a developer and manager of retirement communities in the United Kingdom.
THE ROLE
The Digital Marketing Exec will be responsible for updating the company website content, working closely with the divisional marketing teams – Nationwide – for any ongoing website support and training, executing the SEO work needed to increase visibility and performance of the website, and creating & scheduling social
media content, to be used across all digital channels.
Its a busy and varied role.
Day to day activity will include management of the website using Sitecore CMS to:
– Create and update Development webpages.
– Ensure all property information is correct.
– Ensure all floorplans and interactive site maps are created and correct.
– Update wider marketing teams and agencies of any changes to the selling status of a development.
You will manage the permissions approval process for website content added/amended by the divisional marketing teams.
Provide website CMS support and training to new divisional marketing team members.
Be actively involved in SEO efforts and updates across the website (keyword, image optimization, accessibility etc.)
Create and update article copy, offers and incentives across the website.
Manage social media channels – including online communities and comments on Facebook and Instagram, uploading videos to the company’s YouTube channel, and creating & scheduling posts on Facebook and Instagram.
Use performance tools and reports such as Semrush, Google Analytics and Sitemorse to understand gaps in performance and measures to improve and communicate these to the team.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate experience in:
– Day-to-day administration of a large-scale website or intranet.
– Working with responsive platform technology, CMS and/or customer experience platforms – PREFERABLY SITECORE.
– SEO and optimising website performance.
– Managing/monitoring social media channels preferably using
Falcon/Brandwatch.
– PhotoShop, Google Analytics and dashboard reporting skills.
– Great communication and training skills to help wider team members.
– Writing short editorial copy – for website or social.
– Collaborative working!
– Multi-tasking and working to fluctuating deadlines- you can be flexible!
The role offers remote working, with a once a month meet up, usually in the London office. To start mid- end August latest.
