About the Position

We’re looking for a creative, energetic, and passionate designer who loves tackling design in the digital landscape. You’ll be the lead digital designer responsible for creating on-brand assets for ads, our site, digital retail partners, and to support our social channels. We’re looking for someone with technical know-how and visual prowess.

The Digital Graphic Designer reports to the Creative Director — and works closely with the Marketing and Sales team members as well as vendors who support our internal team.

Location: Bay Area preferred but remote will be considered.

ABOUT YOU

• 5 to 7+ years of design experience.
• Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop).
• Proficient in Adobe CC.
• Comfortable with design and site maintenance on Spotify, Figma, and ideally Premiere Pro or After Effects.
• Strong portfolio of delivered digital designs including ads.
• Strategic creative thinking skills.
• Experience leading digital brand campaigns.
• Solid understanding of design principles, composition, and typography.
• Experience working from a brand style guide.
• Able to multitask and self-manage/prioritize projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• Comfortable and excited to collaborate with other designers and other departments.
• Experience presenting work to groups on different teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with the Senior Director of Digital Marketing and the Creative Director to set strategies, concept, and execute digital ads. This ranges from iterating on successful ads to testing out completely new creative or tactics.
• Design updates and provide seasonal updates to our site — working closely with the Ecomm Manager to strategize. This includes everything from flushing out campaigns online or developing new sites to providing PDP assets for new products and bundles.
• Provide all needed creative support for our online retail partners such as Amazon and Target. Provide direction on the look and feel for branded social content and serve as a creative partner for social ideas.
• Provide mentorship to the Production Designer who works on emails and branded content for social channels.
• Work as the creative voice (for visuals and brand strategy) during meetings with the digital branch of Marketing and outside partners such as site developers.
• Maintain a shared archive of all projects (as all the designers do).
