Development Specialist

Description of the offer

This job profile is for a Development Specialist, who will be primarily responsible for the technical development, maintenance, and support of information systems, under the supervision of a Project Manager.

The Development Specialist will be involved in the development of multimedia applications, virtual reality, augmented reality applications, interactive content, and games. Some of the specific tasks involved in this role are requirements analysis, developing Unity functionality, writing clean and maintainable code, participating in functional working groups and progress meetings, developing test suites and plans, defining and integrating technological components, producing technical and user documentation, assisting with deployment and configuration, investigating issues, coaching and supporting less skilled developers.

To be considered for this role, the candidate must have experience in Unity application development, C# object-oriented programming, relational databases, and experience with AGILE, Scrum or DevOps is a plus. Knowledge of programming languages such as those listed above in technical expertise, understanding of UX design process, and experience with 3D, AR, and VR is desirable.

The candidate should have good knowledge of English and French is a plus, analytical skills, ability and willingness to learn new skills, ability to participate in multilingual and multicultural meetings, ability to work independently as well as in a team, and cope with changing technologies and environments. They should also be up-to-date with the latest development trends, techniques, and technologies.
