Description of the offer

Be on the forefront of crypto and gaming.

We are on the lookout for proactive designers to join our small but dynamic team at Beam, an open source blockchain specialised for gaming.

As a member of the design team, you will play a key part in shaping and maturing the visual identity of multiple projects including Beam and its parent company Merit Circle.

Your ability to take design ownership, manage concurrent responsibilities, collaborate with different stakeholders, and problem solve with different solutions will be crucial as you work with a small lil’ team tackling some big problems in the space.

 

Responsibilities

• Handle design requests independently and ensure high quality output across a range of tasks.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure clear communication and developer hand off – Be proactive in identifying design needs, establishing a plan and executing projects individually and/or with the team

 

Requirements

• Proven experience in design with portfolio showcasing design work
• Can use Figma / Illustrator etc
• Ability to work independently and closely with a team when needed
• Located in a timezone that shares good overlap with UK/European hours

 

Great to have (but not necessary)

• Front end / code knowledge or experience
• Knowledge in web3/cryptocurrency industry
• Versatility and ability to take a generalist problem solving approach using different tools
• Expertise or prowess in a specific area of design (e.g. branding, 3d, graphic, type etc.)
