Why would I want to be a Content Manager at Auctane?

We are looking for an innovative Content Marketer who will create and deliver copy and localisation expertise for assets supporting our global and regional campaigns across Europe and ANZ. Our content will be at the forefront of driving engagement with Auctane brands, platforms and technologies, and addressing our global target audiences across the full buying cycle.Our content should act as a beacon to our technology platforms and create excitement in the market.

This role will necessitate collaboration with a high number of internal Auctane stakeholders, such as Product Management and Sales, as well as collaboration with other marketing functions including Digital, PR, Design and Field Marketing. You must be self-sufficient with the ability to influence and guide the direction of tone of voice, copy, and localisation criteria across all Auctane brands.You will focus on creating strong content that effectively promotes the Auctane products, including Metapack, ShipStation, ShipEngine, and Packlink by creating opportunities to engage and influence our communities and customers.

Differentiation is key, which is why the successful candidate will need to deeply understand our competitor efforts, the wider eCommerce and Delivery management industries, as well as monitor content marketing best practices to make sure Auctane products are at the forefront of industry conversations.


What would I be doing?

  • Creating promotional, long and short form content copy for each stage of the technology buying cycle (awareness consideration and purchase), personas and marketing channels
  • Collaborating with the in-house designer, content manager, as well as external agencies, to ensure copy is brought to life in an engaging and innovative way
  • Working closely with the regional marketing managers to ensure that content created is fit for purpose and localised where necessary
  • Executing against a content marketing calendar, in line with global marketing plans
  • Working with the inhouse designer and content manager to develop systems and processes to support and improve how content is produced and delivered
  • Balancing business and marketing requirements, with superb stakeholder management and influencing skills to change attitude, behaviour and ultimately investment decisions that optimise commercial outcomes from Auctane’s content campaigns
  • Assisting in defining and tracking key content metrics around content production, engagement and campaign performance

What key skills and experience do I need?

  • Marketing professional with 3 – 5 years global marketing copywriting experience
  • Understand the different tonalities and audiences used for creating copy based on personas, sales cycles and channels
  • Strong experience writing whitepapers and reports, copy for SEO, blog posts, case studies and more
  • Recent demonstrable expertise in creating global marketing collateral for a SaaS business
  • Experience working in corporate branding and content planning at a global level for a large organisation
  • Experience working directly in French, German and US markets
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship management
  • Experience gained from working at a commercially focused business and being personally driven by results
  • Degree qualified or a professional qualification in marketing preferred
  • Comfort with numbers, and an ability to analyse data and turn it into thought provoking copy
  • Creative and innovative, always seeking to improve and add value
  • Great communicator both with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Self-reliance, common sense, trust, integrity, and humour
  • Excellent time-management skills, be able to prioritise

It would be great if you also could bring

  • French and/or German language skills
  • Agency experience
  • Experience with Google business applications and collaboration tools
  • Experience with Asana, Atlassian/Jira, or other similar project management tools

  • We are a remote-first company All team members at Auctane Spain are remote employees. You can decide if you want to work in the office 2 days a week or 3 days per quarter—it’s up to you. We also cover your expenses for working from home (50€ net per month/600€ per year).
