Arcadia Finance is an innovative and fast-growing DeFi (Decentralized Finance) startup. We build fully on-chain and non-custodial solutions for portfolio and risk management. Our mission is to bring the user experience and capital efficiency of traditional finance to DeFi. Our team consists of 5 highly motivated individuals, and our main office is in Belgium.

We seek a talented and motivated Designer & Frontend Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative individual passionate about design, user experience, and an open financial system. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the product and development teams to create visually appealing and highly functional interfaces for our platform (current stack: React + Typescript, NextJS, ChakraUI, wagmi.sh).

Salary: 40-60K EUR (with potential equity)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity and design system across all digital touchpoints.
• Design visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces for our DeFi platform, including web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers to translate user requirements and platform features into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, technologies, and techniques, and bring new ideas to the team.
• Participate in user testing and research to inform design decisions and iterate on existing products.
• Help establish design standards, processes, and tools to improve efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a UI/UX designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in creating visually appealing and user-centered designs.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Excellent visual design skills with a focus on user experience and accessibility.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.
• Motivation and willingness to learn.

Nice to have:

• Experience with HTML, CSS, TypeScript, experience with React is a plus.
• Knowledge of Finance, DeFi, blockchain technology, or cryptocurrency.
