We are looking for a visionary who will take Vilgain packaging to the next level.

Vilgain is not just a brand. It’s a lovebrand. We combine premium quality, sustainability, clean design and a lifestyle we believe in. Our products must impress not only with their composition, but also with how they look and the story they tell.

Now we are looking for someone who will not only create – but also set the direction. We are looking for an Art Director for packaging who will lead the design team, set the visual direction of the brand on the packaging and take our packaging to an international level.

What will you be in charge of?

• Management and development of a team of graphic designers specializing in packaging and labels.
• Defining and developing the brand’s visual style within product design.
• Strategic thinking about how packaging communicates the brand and its values.
• Creation and supervision of packaging concepts – from the initial idea to the final print.
• Collaboration with marketing, product and production to create packaging that works visually, practically and commercially.
• Constantly seeking innovation in materials, technologies and approach to design.
• Overseeing the quality of outputs and ensuring consistency across the range.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a strong portfolio in packaging design and at least 4-5 years of experience, ideally leading a creative team.
• Not only do you master Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, but you understand their use in production reality.
• You have aesthetic sensibility, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead a team and projects.
• You can maintain a balance between creativity, functionality and technical requirements (Pantone, CMYK, print data, etc.).
• You follow design trends and are able to sensitively apply them to a lovebrand that has its own style.
• Experience with Figma is an advantage, not a requirement.
• You can communicate, present and defend your (and others’) ideas.
